Autumny evening on Wicklow Mountains

It's been a week from our latest scenic drive, which is actually quite a long time!

We stopped at Lough Tay (bottom left, in the photo) when it was getting dark already..

I'm so excited about visiting Ireland and Wales. I actually get butterflies in my stomach when I think about it Seriously.. it will be such a new experience for me since my whole life I've been a city girl. Yeah I've driven by the countryside and all but you just can't compare!

I wouldn't want to live in a city again.. Where we live now, it's kind of perfect, because we're only a walking distance away from all the main services, yet still close to nature.. But when we go to the mountains, it feels like my soul is resting (I wouldn't want to live there, though, because it'd be too far from the sea.. I must always live only a walking distance from the sea..)

That's absolutely beautiful. I can tell it was very windy!

I know exactly what you mean. I also hope to live where I'm surrounded by nature, but close enough to shops, schools, doctors, etc.. I think it would be very hard not to since I'm used to everything being easily accessible. There's literally a shop in almost every corner over there, and whatever isn't walking distance is very easy to get to by just hopping on the bus.
